Approach by car

• via A2 (coming from Berlin or Hannover), leave the highway on exit 70 "Magdeburg Zentrum" to the "Magdeburger Ring" (E49/B189). Leave the "Magdeburger Ring" on exit "Albert-Vater-Straße", follow the B1 in direction (east) to the "Universitätsplatz" (large roundabout).

• via A14 (coming from Halle or Leipzig), leave the highway on exit 105 "Magdeburg Sudenburg, Zentrum" to the "Magdeburger Ring" (B81/E49/B71). Leave the "Magdeburger Ring" on exit "Albert-Vater-Straße" (Helmstedt, Dessau, Burg, Zentrum, Olvenstedt), follow the B1 in direction "Dessau, Burg, Zentrum" to the "Universitätsplatz" (large roundabout).

• via B1 from west to University Square (large roundabout), do not go through the tunnel (see diagram)

• 3/4 drive around the roundabout and turn into "Gareisstraße"

• At the first traffic light, turn right into "Henning-von-Tesckow-Str."

• if you are on the B1 coming from the east (from Dessau or Burg direction), cross the two bridges over the Elbe. Then at the second traffic light after the bridge turn right into Pfälzer Straße. (see map)
